Sarah & Ethan's wedding was special in a way that went far beyond the beautiful setting. Hosted at a private estate in Guilford, the celebration took place at the Sarah's grandmother’s home—a place filled with heart, meaning, and sweeping waterfront views that made the day feel deeply personal from the very start.

The bride was a legacy client for us, having watched her sister go through the planning process years earlier, which made this celebration feel like a full-circle moment. From the earliest conversations, it was clear that family and intention would be at the center of everything—and the day reflected that in the most thoughtful ways.

Many of the details were true labors of love. A custom-built seating chart came together through a family effort, blue bar fronts added a playful yet polished pop of color, and the bride herself designed the letterpress stationery—each piece a reflection of her talent and care. These DIY elements didn’t feel homemade; they felt meaningful, layered, and full of heart.

The design palette leaned into classic coastal tones—soft blues, crisp whites, and varying shades of hydrangea that felt perfectly at home against the waterfront backdrop. A clear-top tent with twinkle lights allowed the landscape to remain part of the celebration, even as evening settled in, creating a space that felt both intimate and open.

As the sun set and the lights began to glow, the tent filled with laughter, conversation, and dancing—an atmosphere shaped as much by the setting as by the people in it. This wasn’t just a wedding; it was a gathering of generations, creativity, and love, all coming together in a place that meant everything to the family.
